Adding a Type Code

To add a type code, select the Type Code Maintenance menu option (VTC) and then enter password level 1.
The entry fields are as follows:

Enter up to five lines of notes to further describe or list information about the type.
Verify the entries made. If no changes are needed, press OK to add the record to the type code file.

Changing a Type Code

To change a type code:

• Select the Type Code Maintenance menu option (VTC).
• Enter password level 1.
• Enter the Type Code or press f1 to select a type from the lookup list.
• Choose the field to change and make the desired changes.
• When all changes have been made, press the OK key and then press enter to save the changes. Pressing the esc key will exit the type code record without saving any of the changes.

   Deleting a Type Code

   To delete a type code:

• Select the Type Code Maintenance menu option (VTC).
• Enter password level 1.
• Enter the Type Code or press f1 to select a type from the lookup list.
• Press the delete icon to delete the type code record. One of the following messages will be displayed depending on whether or not there are Motor Pool vehicles classified under this code.
• Choose the appropriate option to perform the desired action.
