Getting Started with RTA Inspect

Our goal with RTA Inspect is to provide powerful fleet management tools that are also simple, easy to use, and require little to no maintenance. This guide will help you through the process of setting up RTA Inspect for your company.

 

 

Download the RTA Inspect App

RTA Inspect is first and foremost a mobile application, keeping your fleet always at the touch of your fingers. Before diving too far into this guide, download the mobile app specific to your platform.

 

Creating Your Personal RTA Inspect account

Before you can set up RTA Inspect for your company, you will first need to create a user account. This is quick, easy and only requires a working email and a password. No payment is required for existing RTA Platinum SaaS clients. Since you are the one setting up RTA Inspect for your company, your profile will be designated as the owner of your company’s account.

When you first open the app, select “FREE 30-DAY TRIAL” and fill in the form on the Account Creation page. Once you are done, tap “NEXT”.

Once this is done you will see the Email Verification page.

 

Verifying Your Email Address

An email from RTA Inspect should be sent to the email address you provided. Go to your inbox and follow the link contained in the email. This verifies that you own this email address. The app automatically detects when this is complete and then shows you the Connect To Company page.

The Connect To Company page allows your drivers to join your company’s RTA Inspect account using invite codes that you can send them once your company account is setup. But since you are the one setting this up for the first time, you need to select the button titled “NEED TO CREATE YOUR OWN COMPANY?". This allows you to create your company’s account inside RTA Inspect.

 

Create Your Company Account

The Create Company page allows you to give your company a name and estimate the size of your fleet. When you first get started with RTA Inspect you will receive a no-obligation 30 day trial with full access to all the RTA Inspect features. This initial estimate of your fleet size is needed so we can setup your company account correctly. It can be adjusted later if you are not sure how many vehicles you plan to add to RTA Inspect Inspect. The default value is 100. Once you’ve named your company and indicated an estimated fleet size, tap the “DONE” button in the bottom right corner of the screen. After a short delay your company account will be setup and you can continue on and configure your vehicle inspections.
