Assigning Paperless Priority Codes

Paperless Shop priority codes can be assigned to each job or work order line. A priority code is a 2-digit code designed to prioritize work for the mechanics. Valid priority codes can range from 05 to 99 (05 having the highest priority and 99 having the lowest priority). Codes 01-04 are reserved by the RTA system and are designated to incomplete jobs. Scheduled jobs will be listed in order of priority code; therefore, the high priority jobs should be given a lower number so they will appear towards the top of the list, and the lower priority jobs should be given a higher number so they will appear towards the bottom of the list. There isn't a table that defines the value for each priority code. This is left to the discretion of the scheduler. An example of how priority codes can be designated for various jobs is shown below.
