The asset status search screen gives you an overall picture of your asset statuses on one search screen in which you can filter, sort and edit to see exactly what you want to see. You can even export this screen as an ad hoc report to others in your organization so they know the status of their assets.
Asset Status Search Screen
To find the asset status search screen, locate the asset tab on the left hand menu panel. Once you expand this menu you will see the asset status menu.
When you click on the Status tab you will see the asset status screen where you can change the asset status to any status in the drop down list.
You have all of the same abilities here as any other search screen. You can edit columns, move, sort and filter columns to see exactly what you need to see. You can then export as an excel spreadsheet or PDF for an ad hoc report.
One of the features of this screen is Gallery Mode, which allows the vehicle statuses to scroll through all assets. This is a great feature if you want to display this in a driver, dispatch or other common area where people would like to know vehicle statuses.
When you click on “Toggle Gallery” you will need to determine how long each page stays on the screen and how many items are listed per page and click save when done.
The other great feature of this screen is the ability to see status change history and current work order lines associated with the asset. To see this information choose the asset and click on the line.
Once you click on the line you will see the work order line information and status change history.
You have the ability to drill down to the work order details by clicking on the blue work order number in work order history to see more information.
