Setup - RTA or the customer sets up a shortcut or quick launch button to open File Explorer to the Images folder on RTA servers. Copy File User selects the shortcut to open file explorer User copies the file from their local computer or network to the folder on the RTA server, ideally in a well-structured folder hierarchy so that images can be located appropriately.
Attach file User browses to the vehicle or work order where the file should be attached and clicks the Attachments button User browses to the file uploaded in the previous step, navigating the same folder hierarchy they had to use previously during the copy file step. User selects the file and attaches it to the RTA vehicle or work order.

User browses to the file on their local computer or file server using the special special drive letter. For Example, if you have an M drive, you will see “M on [computername]” drive letter. ” User selects the file and attaches it to the RTA vehicle or work order. RTA automatically uploads the file to our servers in the background. You can immediately get back to work without having to wait for the image to upload.
