Occasionally, jobs may need to be reassigned from one mechanic to another. The scheduled mechanic may become unavailable or perhaps the workload needs to be re-distributed evenly. Whatever the case may be, to release a job, go to the Scheduled Mechanic Jobs screen and then complete the following steps:
- Select the desired job lines using the checkbox and then click the RELEASE button.
- Click the YES button or press ENTER to confirm; click the NO button to leave the job scheduled as is.
Once a job is released, it will be removed from the mechanic's list of scheduled jobs. To reassign that job to another mechanic, refer to "Re-assigning Jobs to Another Mechanic" later in this chapter.
