Single Sign On (SSO)
Single Sign On (SSO) is an authentication process that allows a user to log in once and gain access to multiple applications or services without having to log in separately for each one. SSO requires some set up from your organizations IT department to add RTA to be an authorized application within their centralized authentication.
SSO is an add on module with an additional cost. Set up must be initiated through RTA tech support
Your organization must be using a service that connects via SAML 2.0 for SSO to work
Set Up
RTA User account must be completely set up and active within RTA Fleet360 to include any email invites for user set-up, see how to set up a new user here before linking to SSO. This ensures proper user permissions are set up prior to user access to RTA.
Request the SAML 2.0 connection data from your IT department

The Organization’s IT department must provide the following data:
Microsoft Active Directory domain
Client ID
Client Secret
Identity API [Microsoft Identity Platform (v2) | Azure Active Directory (v1)]
(Only on v1) Protocol [OpenId Connect | WS Federation]
(Only on v1) App ID URI
Contact Tech Support and create a support ticket providing the above information.
Tech support will create the add on module with the provided IT information
Your IT department will be notified of the completed connection set up from RTA and will need to complete some final steps on their end. Once they complete the se- up, SSO will be active.

Single Sign On
Once the set-up is complete, you can navigate to app.rtafleet.com
Click sign on, and enter your work email credentials, it will show SSO enabled
Once you log in it may ask you to verify your Microsoft account
It will then ask you to create a new account or link an existing account, under the link existing user enter your RTA log in credentials
If you choose create account, you will still need your company RTA administrator to set you user permissions. It is recommended you have an RTA account set up prior to linking your company email for SSO.
Each time you click sign on now it will automatically log you in to RTA
