Quick Help

From any page in RTA, a user can use CTRL+Q to open the “Quick Help” screen:

 

 

These button options, if clicked on, will open a “Read Only” version of that file. For example, ‘Vehicles' will launch the MVM screen to input a vehicle number of perform a search, but every option that would traditionally be editable within the vehicle master screen will now be greyed out as read only.

 

This Quick Help Tool allows the user to navigate away from their current screen without closing their session. In the case of a technician or parts clerk, it also allows them access to areas they traditionally wouldn’t be allowed in, except they can’t edit, so viewing does no harm.
