Problem 

How to setup the Worth Data Tricoder, and how to use it with RTA.

YOU MUST INSTALL THE WORTH CD (INTEGRATED UTILITIES) FOR THIS TO WORK.  IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE CD, IT CAN BE DOWNLOADED FROM http://www.barcodehq.com/downloads.html.  YOU WILL NEED TO GET THE CUSTOMIZED PROGRAM FILES FROM US

Step by Step guide

  1. Make sure the Tricoder is set to the High Speed USB
    1. Turn On Tricoder
    2. Hit 5 Setup
    3. Hit 2 I/O Settings
    4. Toggle (1) until USB Full Speed
    5. 0/0 to Exit

  2. Connect the Tricoder to programming computer (hit the Connect/Refresh, in the top right you should see the Tricoder info if connected (Under the Tricoder Manager in the Tricoder option left)

    1. In the Pull down “Path,” navigate to where the Tricoder Program Files were saved (i.e. H:\Tricoder\Tricoder5500)

    2. Select the Cloning.CLZ file on Left side and then select the “Cloning” option under the Tricoder on Right side and then select the > key (this starts copying the files needed to the Tricoder

    3. Once the Program pops up with a finished message box, it is done (Is installed with the Basic 3)

  3. ****Lastly, need to make sure the Tricoder is set to the HID USB Keyboard Setting and set the Date

    To Set the USB Setting:

    a. Turn On Tricoder

    b. Hit 5 Setup

    c. Hit 2 I/O Settings

    d. Toggle (1) until HID USB Keyboard

    e. 0/0 to Exit

    To Set the Date Setting:

    a. Turn On Tricoder

    b. Hit 5 Setup

    c. Hit 3 Date & Time Settings

    d. Enter (2) for setting Date and Enter (1 )for setting Time

    e. 0/0 to Exit
