Set or Change Customer Markups

This utility program creates and changes customer markup rates for a range of customers.

Running the Utility

  1. Select System > Custom Utilities II > Misc Utilities > Set Customer Markups from the RTA main menu (SIMM).
  2. Enter the starting and ending facility and customer number or press F1 to make the selection from a lookup list.
  3. Select the checkbox for the items to change and then enter the new markup values or settings.

To change the tax flags for shop supplies, select the Change tax shop supplies checkbox. The Tax shop supplies checkbox will become available. To charge customers shop supplies, select the Tax shop supplies checkbox. To not charge shop supplies, leave the Tax shop supplies checkbox blank. The system will flag/unflag customer records accordingly.
The Change tax outside parts checkbox works in the same manner as the Change tax shop supplies checkbox.
