Mechanic Workstations

Mechanics will generally do all their processing through the Login option (WPL). An icon or batch program can be set up on the computer terminals in the shop to bring up Login option automatically. This not only helps to speed up data processing for the mechanics, but it also prevents access to other options in the RTA system. The easiest way to do this is to install the RTA Workstation CD or run SETUP.EXE from within the \CLIENT subfolder where the RTA Fleet Management Software is installed on your server.
During the workstation setup, you will be prompted to select which specific icons you want to install. Choose the Paperless Shop option. Otherwise, you can go into the fleet folder and located the file PapShop.exe and create a shortcut and paste it on your desktop
